NATURE

These fashion illustrations are inspired by nature beauty: fresh flowers, freely soaring birds and breezy wind. The tagline was "Free the nature, dress like flower".

ATONEMENT

This photo session was inspired by the dark side of 18th century. I designed the dress, used on the model, while listening to the Dario Marianelli's lilting score for a beautiful, heart-breaking movie 'Atonement' by Joe Wright.  The task was to replicate the look I created before aka "VICTORIAN".

VICTORIAN

These art sketches were inspired by the Victorian period. The garments were never meant to be created. I conceived them as  Victorian/Future outfits. Big wigs, my favorite part of any look, were inspired by Marie Antoinette's period.

FLOWERS

These are the art sketches for Antoinette collection. For the main theme I used fresh flowers. For the make-up I wanted to add something Gothic to make them look more sophisticated. As you can see the blue dress, turned out to be purple aka "MASQUERADE".

ROSES

In this model I used lots of flowers once again. I adore delicate and soft rose color. I wish I could wear this color all my life.

MASQUERADE

I know, that Marie Antoinette could never wear purple color, which was the favorite color of King Louis XV's mistress Madame de Pompadour. But I simply couldn't abandon this captivating mysterious color, which diluted the collection, bringing the mood of celebration and carnival.

CAKE!

Marie Antoinette's famous phrase "Let them eat cake!" is ahead of its author in popularity. Although historians refuse the veracity of this phrase, one thing is certain: Marie Antoinette loved cakes. Pink, peach, almond, they are an indispensable element of a dinner table. Incredible lightness, airiness and delicacy served as an inspiration to create dresses. Flowing folds of delicate pastel shades unwittingly remind us of cakes. In combination with white accessories, resembling whipped cream, this dress looks particularly appetizing.

PANIER

This wedding dress was inspired by very popular rococo trend - volume skirts. Production of this skirt took 104 hand-made flowers, 8 meters of silk and about 150 hours of hardworking. With my obsession to accuracy production took much longer, than it could require. So, not to lose the precious time during production, I was listening to audiobooks of Virginia Woolf.

ANTOINETTE

I've decided to start my blog by posting my last collection, based on a historical costume of Marie Antoinette. For inspiration I used Antoinette's passion for flowers, pastel colors and cakes!
